Benchmarking Activity Bachelor of Islamic Theology and Philosophy for International Accreditation
Surabaya & Malang, November 16, 2023*– The Study Program of Islamic Theology and Philosophy (AFI) recently engaged in a benchmarking initiative aimed at enhancing its preparations for international accreditation by FIBAA. The benchmarking activity, held on November 16, 2023, involved a thorough analysis and comparison of practices at Airlangga University in Surabaya and Muhammadiyah University in Malang.Â
The primary focus of this benchmarking endeavor was to gather insights on the submission process for the Self-Assessment Report (SER) and appendices. Faculty members and administrators from the AFI team actively participated in discussions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions organized during the visit to both universities.Â
The head of AFI, expressed enthusiasm about the invaluable feedback received from the benchmarking exercise. "The guidance and recommendations gathered from our counterparts at Airlangga University and Muhammadiyah University are instrumental in refining our approach towards meeting the stringent criteria set by FIBAA," he remarked.Â
